Description
Introductory inquiry course based on construction of small structures and basic woodworking projects. Topics may include basic site layout, building frame layout, building envelope, electricity, plumbing, and concrete. This course is intended to give students experience in a workplace like setting to allow for technical skill development. Students will manage small projects involving one or more of the topic areas. Projects will be done in an outdoor setting as well as in a shop. This course is a prerequisite for Sustainable Design 1.
