Building upon the skills established in Art 1, this intermediate course further develops students’ technical skills and design sense. Students will work with new media not covered in Art 1, as well as more challenging processes with familiar media. Students will continue to apply design concepts to evaluate artwork, and will be supported in making connections between artistic ideas and societal, cultural, and historical contexts.
