Provides an overview of all body systems including parts, functions and common diseases and disorders and the importance of homeostasis. Teaches clinical/surgical procedures, nursing techniques and principles of restraint of small and large animals. Emphasizes techniques to maximize the safety aspect of both the handler and the animal patient.
