This course is an introductory course designed to explore careers working with animals, as well as covering scientific classification and the history of animals. Units covered include personal and workplace safety (including animal behavior & handling), careers working with animals, ethics and welfare, scientific classification and the animal cell, history of animals, breeds of animals, and industry terminology.
