Description

This advanced course builds upon the knowledge and skills developed in previous culinary arts courses. Topics include marketing, menu design and management, controlling fixed and variable costs and HR skills. Additionally, the course will provide opportunities to participate in culinary competitions and catering events, allowing students to showcase their talents and gain valuable experience.

Students are required to have a current Food Handlers Card to fully participate in the class.

Prerequisites

Intro to Culinary Arts, Gourmet Foods & Hospitality, (could be taken concurrently with Gourmet Foods with teacher approval)
