Child Development 4 - Hillsboro High School

This class is for students interested in careers in education, child care, or related social services. In this year long course students will apply the skills learned in foundational courses including: classroom management, teaching and learning strategies, and lesson planning. Students take on more of an active teaching role while working in the preschool. Curriculum topics focus on observation and assessment, behavior and guidance, leading large groups, and other more in-depth concepts. Students will also plan and complete their senior project within this class.
