Career Cluster
Description
This course is an exploration of relevant mathematics that allows the student to develop in areas that include quantitative reasoning, problem-solving strategies, probabilistic and statistical reasoning, and the application of financial algebra. In addition to content objectives, the student is supported in growing their ability to not only think mathematically, but also communicate mathematically, through collaboration and the application of the Math Practices. Concurrent to supporting mathematical development, this course provides access to the foundational math required for many degrees (non-STEM, non-business) offered around the state and may be taken as a dual credit course where available (Math 105z).
