Description
Drafting 2 is an intermediate course in Computer Aided Design (CAD). Students will expand their CAD experience by using industry-standard CAD software to design, develop, and manufacture of 3D models. Students will learn how to prepare 3D models for 3D printing, using 3D slicing software. Students may also learn to use industry CNC lathe/mill machines. Students will tackle complex design challenges to solve real-world design problems using their CAD and manufacturing skills with available lab equipment. At the conclusion of the course, each student will have a portfolio of their drafting assignments.
