Description
AP Economics addresses both micro- and macroeconomics. AP Microeconomics is the stsudy of how individuals, households, business, and government make economic decisions. Content focuses on the fundamentals of economics: scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, market structures, firms' cost curves, and factor markets. The purpose of AP Macroeconomics is to give students a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to economic systems as a whole. Tins course places particular emphasis on the study of national income, fiscal and monetary policy, economic performance measures, economic growth, and international economics. Students are required to complete the entire course to receive the required credit.
