Career Cluster
Description
This class builds upon the foundation of technical skills built in 3D Art 1 and continues to develop critical thinking and concept design. This class has an emphasis on ceramics in the first semester, with some time spent on the pottery wheel, and then a variety of sculptural media in the second semester. In addition to designing and creating art, students will use artist research to inform projects, take part in critiques, craft artist statements, and continue to learn the necessary vocabulary to support their art making.
